Session Settings

New AVMS sign-ins expire after the configured session timeout. Allowed range: 5–480 minutes.

Time Settings

These settings are stored in AVMS and will be used by the scheduling service. AVMS does not change the Windows clock; NTP synchronization is verified and applied during the deployment/service phase.

Storage Locations

Review current paths before a storage migration. AVMS will validate available capacity and show a performance warning before allowing a future media-library move.

Decoder

Credentials are protected on this AVMS PC and are used only to control this decoder. This BirdDog model uses its password; other device adapters may require both fields. A manual override takes priority over schedules and group defaults for this decoder.

Add decoder

For a multi-channel decoder, add one AVMS decoder entry per active decode channel. Each address and channel combination can be enrolled once.

Group

When AVMS confirms the intended schedule or default source is unavailable, it routes this group to the configured failover source. Manual decoder overrides are not replaced.

Source details

AVMS automatically associates a source with an enrolled device when NDI discovery reports the same host address. Use this field only to override or add an address AVMS cannot discover.

Add source

Enter the exact NDI source name to add it to AVMS inventory. AVMS will mark it available automatically when NDI discovery sees it.

Create playlist

Playlists loop by default but can be changed by selecting the checkbox below. The first media item establishes the playlist video and audio profile; later items must match it.

Choose month

Create playlist output

The current AVMS playback engine generates HB NDI. HX3 will become selectable only when an HX3-capable sender provider is installed. Network transport is separate from NDI protocol.

Add user profile

Choose the maximum access level for each AVMS area. None hides the tab; View is read-only; Add, Edit, and Full progressively allow more changes.

Add remote SRT source

AVMS listens for a remote SRT caller, normalizes the feed to 720p59.94 with stereo 48 kHz audio, and publishes it as an AVMS NDI source for normal routing.
