Media Playback Reports

Playback is recorded when AVMS advances through a playlist item. Endpoint names are a routing snapshot at that time; this is not proof that a physical screen was powered on.

Emergency/Notification Presentation

No emergency/notification presentation is active.

This action temporarily takes precedence over schedules, defaults, Quick Route, and manual overrides. Clearing or expiration restores normal routing authority.

Audio

The tone plays three times with a two-second pause. Speech starts two seconds after the tone sequence finishes.

Session Settings

New AVMS sign-ins expire after the configured session timeout. Allowed range: 5–480 minutes.

Time Settings

These settings are stored in AVMS and will be used by the scheduling service. AVMS does not change the Windows clock; NTP synchronization is verified and applied during the deployment/service phase.

Storage Locations

Review current paths before a storage migration. AVMS will validate available capacity and show a performance warning before allowing a future media-library move.

Decoder

When enabled, AVMS briefly reconnects this decoder after a generated playlist completes a loop. The source continues running for other endpoints. Leave this disabled for short loops or decoders that remain stable.

Credentials are protected on this AVMS PC and are used only to control this decoder. This BirdDog model uses its password; other device adapters may require both fields. A manual override takes priority over schedules and group defaults for this decoder.

Add decoder

For a multi-channel decoder, add one AVMS decoder entry per active decode channel. Each address and channel combination can be enrolled once at each site. Credentials are protected only by the server that manages the decoder.

Group

When AVMS confirms the intended schedule or default source is unavailable, it routes this group to the configured failover source. Manual endpoint overrides are not replaced.

Source details

AVMS automatically associates a source with an enrolled device when NDI discovery reports the same host address. Use this field only to override or add an address AVMS cannot discover.

Manage source inventory

Remove only saved NDI sources that are no longer needed. Generated playlist outputs and inbound transport sources are managed in their own settings; sources with active references are protected.

The playlist profile defines its intended screen resolution, orientation, frame rate, and fit behavior. Existing playlists remain on their current media profile until changed.

Select one or more servers that should generate this playlist source. Cluster members are assigned automatically by the cluster and are not listed individually.

Use HTTPS addresses without embedded credentials. Set refresh to 0 to retain the website session while it is displayed. Use a lower zoom percentage to fit more of the page on screen.

Add calendar content

Calendar access uses the OAuth provider configured in Administration. AVMS retrieves recurring instances server-side and sends endpoints only a rendered schedule view; OAuth credentials are never sent to a player.
